"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome once again to Cosmic Wrestling TV. We come to you tonight live from the Verein Forum here in the capital of Austria, Vienna. My name is Dorian Hindman and I am joined behind the desk by legendary grappler, Manny Fantana."

"I'm not happy, Heine." Fantana is sulking, an absurd sight in his lime green suit, fit snug to his muscular frame.

"Why not?" Hindman asks, intrigued. His suit is as bland as Fantana's is garish.

"This title match is wrong, Heine, it should be Cashman getting the shot, becoming the champion."

"Here we go again." Dorian rolls his eyes. "You can't stop talking this guy up, and he can't stop letting you down."

"He is the greatest junior heavyweight in the world, Heine. He deserves to be the Cosmic Dragon."

"Can we stop talking about a man who is not even in the match?" Dorian's patience wears thin. "Our first match, ladies and gentlemen, will pit the first ever Cosmic Dragon champion, Flash, against second generation luchador Psicosis Junior. These two young athletes were scheduled to have a non-title match last week on Cosmic TV, but Cashman stuck his nose in."

"He prevented the wrong man from getting the shot!"

"Fine job, seeing as he's about to get a title shot!"

Manny is silent. Dorian waits for him to retort. Once it becomes clear that Fantana has no comeback, Dorian continues. "Let's head down to the ring for this huge title match."

"Dammit!" Dorian is furious.

"He did what he had to do, Heine."

"He had to attack the champion from behind with a chair?"

"Hey, he attacked him from the front!" Manny holds a finger up. "It's not Cashman's fault that the phoney champion didn't see him."

"Well, I don't know what we're going to do now. Psicosis Junior is owed a title shot, but unless we want to get Cashman arrested or something, I can't see that match ever being able to take place!"

"A superb tactic, Heine. Make sure that no-one else can get a shot, so that you eventually do."

"What?" Dorian is incredulous. "What if, rather than putting him in the title match, we just fire him?"

"He's the only true baller on the roster, Heine. Cosmic Wrestling needs Mohammed Cashman."

"Well," Dorian puts a finger to his ear "you'll be happy to hear, Fantana, that at Evolution, our pay-per-view event taking place a week on Saturday in Stuttgart, Germany, Mohammed Cashman and Psicosis Junior will both get a chance to win the Cosmic Dragon championship in a triple threat match." Dorian is clearly disgusted. "Why are we allowing this?"

"Because it's brilliant, Heine!" Fantana beams.

"Let's move on from this." Dorian tries to shake free of his annoyance. "Earlier this week, I sat down with Suzuki."

We cut to a pre-taped interview with the would-be number one contender for the Cosmic Heavyweight title, Suzuki. He is sitting in a hotel room and he greets Dorian with a slight nod as the interview begins.

"Suzuki," Dorian says apologetically, "last week, we saw footage of you being blindsided in the car park by Diamond TA. How are you feeling?"

Suzuki's mask of calm is momentarily broken, before regaining composure. He replies in perfect English, with a moderately thick Japanese accent. His candour is slow and deliberate. "How am I feeling?" He muses. "Not great. I still have a concussion from the attack. I am still embarrassed from the attack. I thirst for vengeance."

"You are still, at this time, number one contender for the Cosmic Heavyweight Championship. Will you be cleared in time for the Evolution event in Germany?"

"I will." He nods. "But the Cosmic title will have to wait. I want Diamond TA."

"So you are passing up the chance to become champion?"

"For now, yes." He nods again. "Titles are an honour, an accomplishment to be cherished for an entire career, an entire life. But vengeance is a greater honour. My thirst for titles is nothing to my thirst for vengeance."

We cut back to the arena and Fantana speaks first. "A man of few words, but his words carry weight."

"They do indeed. He didn't have much to say beyond this and I can now confirm that next week, on Cosmic TV, we will see Diamond TA versus Suzuki, will vengeance be served?"

"No." Fantana announces. "Diamond TA is the best wrestler in Cosmic Wrestling and he already beat Suzuki two weeks ago! Hate to disappoint you."

"No you don't." Hindman comes back and the two share a quick laugh. "Next up, history. For the first time in Cosmic Wrestling, we will have a women's match. Two competitors, one from England, the other from Nigeria. Fantana, what do you know of these women?"

"They're both damn hot!"

"Well, I guess I offered you that one." Hindman shakes his head. "Charli Wheeler, from Leeds, England, is one of the best technical wrestlers in Europe. She loves all things retro, as we'll see when she makes her entrance, and her devastating finishing move, Panama Sunrise, has been taking the wrestling world by storm. As for her opponent, Tiger, she is a powerhouse with incredible agility for a woman of her size and strength. We are about to see power versus technique. Care to pick a winner, Fantana?"

Fantana flexes his biceps for the camera.

"I'll take that as you picking Tiger, then." The two laugh again. "Down to the ring!"

"What an excellent match to kick off our women's division here on Cosmic Wrestling TV!"

"Fantastic match, Heine." Fantana nods. "Both women hit their big moves, but strength won out over technique." He flexes again and Dorian rolls his eyes.

"I'll not hear the end of this, will I?" Dorian chuckles. "What did you make of the competitors, Manny?"

"The Tequila Sunrise is a phenomenal move-"

"Panama Sunrise."

"Whatever." Fantana waves a hand. "It's a phenomenal wrestling move but you need strength to win in this sport, and Tiger showed that. I have no idea what to call her finishing manoeuvre, but it sure was devastating!"

"That it was, Fantana, and could this be the dawn of a dominant spell for Tiger here in Cosmic Wrestling?"

"With the power and resiliency she just showed, absolutely."

"We will have to see." Dorian nods. "Next up, Isiah Jones will be in action. First, though, he's speaking to Walt Frederick."

We cut to an older gentlemen stood alone in a concrete walled corridor. "Thank you, Dorian. Isiah Jones?" He looks to his left and the giant Isiah Jones makes his way carefully in to shot.

"Forgive my sheepishness, Walt, but last time we were together I was jumped." He addresses the camera. "I'll keep this shot. Mad Dog. At Evolution, you're mine. I'm going to knock you clean out and humiliate you, once and for all."

With that, he left for the ring.

"We need to do something about the constant interference taking place here." Dorian is disappointed. "Can we go one full show without someone running in?"

"Probably not, Heine." Fantana shakes his head. "These men and women are peak performance athletes who got to where they are through fierce levels of competition. If you're not intensely competitive, you don't make it here."

"Well, speaking of intense competitiveness, we saw Isiah Jones fight back from said interference to beat the plucky El Ultimo."

"There were a few times when I thought that the Puerto Rican had it won, but this Jones is good, Heine, I can't deny."

"And it is now official. Isiah Jones has granted Mad Dog Silva a rematch at Evolution next Saturday. Will we see another dominant performance from Isiah Jones?"

"I think Mad Dog was taken off guard by him the first time, he'll be better prepared come Evolution."

"One person who needs to prepare better is King Wonderful. Since debuting, he's lost to Suzuki and Tommy Gates."

"The champion and number one contender. Hardly embarrassing losses, Heine."

"Agreed, but losses nonetheless. Walt Frederick is speaking to him backstage."

"Thank you, Dorian." Walt turns from the camera to face the Egyptian. "King, you have narrowly lost your first two matches here at Cosmic Wrestling, including last week when Tommy Gates kicked out of both of your signature holds twice. How do you plan to come back from that?"

King Wonderful looks upset, defeated. He opens his mouth to talk, but no sound comes out. Suddenly, a beautiful blonde woman in street clothes appears from screen right and speaks.

"Don't answer that, Sweetie." Walt moves the mic to her level. "You don't have to answer that. We will be back at Evolution, and King Wonderful will be more wonderful than ever with his queen, Rachel Charming, by his side."

With that, they exit. Walt is left looking confused. "Rachel Charming, indeed? I guess King Wonderful's solution is to find himself a manager, possibly a lover?"

"He's found himself a queen, Heine." We cut back to Fantana and Dorian. "A genius move when you're not quite finding the winning formula."

"By the sounds of it, we'll find out next Saturday at Evolution." Hindman plugs, again. "Now, though, it is time for our huge main event. Tommy Gates will team up with MAX AWESOME-"

"All the cheaters in one team." Fantana interrupts.

"Against the entire Seventh Circle. I guess I know who you're backing, Fantana."

"The most dominant team in wrestling versus three hacks. Of course The Circle will triumph."

"I'm not so sure, but let's find out."

"I don't think you can call that cheating. I think you call that a definitive, decisive victory. After Creation, last month's pay-per-view, we speculated that we might be seeing the end of The Seventh Circle. Since then, they've picked up a couple of wins, but that loss was resounding. How do they come back from this, Fantana?"

"Heine, I really don't know what to tell you. The Seventh Circle were decimated in front of us. It took less than twenty minutes to destroy what took their careers to build. I don't know where they go from here."

"I guess we'll find out next week. Join us in seven days' time here at Cosmic Wrestling TV. I've been Dorian Hindman and from myself and Manny Fantana, goodnight."

"Can't believe it." Fantana whispers as we fade to black.
